In guest appearances on the Hollywood-set dark comedy “Entourage,” Saget played a warped character named Bob Saget who was foul-mouthed but, unlike the man himself, was a misogynist and worse.

He worked as an entertainer for 45 years (1977 to 2022) and was famous for his role in the ABC sitcom Full House as Danny Tanner from 1987 until 1995, it's Netflix sequel Fuller House that ran from 2016 until 2020, and as the host of America's Funniest Home. He is not the single child in his family and grew up along with his siblings who are his sisters and named Gay Saget and Andrea Saget. In a statement Sunday, Saget’s family members said they are “devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. Stand-up Comedian, Television Host, Director, and Actor. He was born to his father Benjamin Saget who was a supermarket executive and mother Rosalyn Saget who was a hospital administrator and belonged to a Jewish family.
